🇨🇭🇩🇪 Swiss Lacrosse setzt beim Coaching Staff für die Box Lacrosse Europameisterschaften 2022 in Hannover auf Kontinuität und Erfahrung.
Nach den Europa- und Weltmeisterschaften in 2017 bzw. 2019 wird Brian Tyacke die Mannschaft auch 2022 als Head Coach betreuen. Unter Tyacke konnte die Box Nationalmannschaft grosse Fortschritte erzielen und mit dem 9. bzw. 17. Platz bereits zwei erfolgreiche Turniere bestreiten. Swiss Lacrosse ist sehr glücklich, dass Tyacke für eine weitere Kampagne gewonnen werden konnte und die Nationalmannschaft ein weiteres Jahr leiten wird.
Mit Neil Doddridge stösst ganz viel Erfahrung zur Box Nationalmannschaft. Neben 14 Saisons in der NLL mit 2 NLL Championships und sagenhaften 7 Mann Cups (der Kanadischen Meisterschaft) hat der neue Defensive Coordinator auch schon Jr. A Teams und die Finnische Nationalmannschaft betreut. Mit Doddridge konnte Swiss Lacrosse einen Box Lacrosse Experten für seinen Coaching Staff gewinnen.
Mit Shawn Evans wird in Hannover ein aktueller NLL Superstar an der Bande der Schweizer Nati stehen. Der zweimalige NLL MVP und 7-malige (!) Mann Cup Champion wird im Sommer 2022 sein internationales Coaching Debüt geben. Mit seiner Firma «Nationwide Lacrosse» macht der neue Offensive Coordinator Schulbesuche in seiner Heimatstadt Peterborough und will damit mehr Kindern den Lacrossesport näher bringen. Evans wird Swiss Lacrosse damit nicht nur in, sondern auch ausserhalb der Box besser machen.

🇺🇸🇬🇧 Swiss Lacrosse focusses on consistency and experience for the coaching staff of the European Box Lacrosse Championships 2022 in Hannover.
After the European and World Championships in 2017 and 2019 respectively, Brian Tyacke will once again be in charge of the Swiss Box National Team as the Head Coach. Under Tyacke’s lead the Box National Team was able to improve in all aspects of the indoor game and finish 9th and 17th in the European and World Championships. Swiss Lacrosse is very pleased that Tyacke will be with the team for another campaign.
Neil Doddridge will bring lots of experience to the coaching staff. The new defensive coordinator has not only played in 14 NLL seasons with 2 championships and won 6 consecutive Mann Cups (7 total), but also coached Jr. A teams and the Finnish National Team. Doddridge will bring a lot of Lacrosse expertise to the coaching staff.
With Shawn Evans a current NLL superstar will be behind the bench for the Swiss National Team. The two-time NLL MVP and 7 time (!) Mann Cup champion will be giving his international coaching debut as the offensive coordinator in Hannover 2022. His company “Nationwide Lacrosse” visits schools in his hometown of Peterborough in order to teach children about the game of Lacrosse. With his knowledge Evans will be of great benefit for Swiss Lacrosse – inside and outside the rink.
